Sonic Fan? Only Top Notch Games Can Be Played?
Forums › General Discussion › Sonic Fan? Only Top Notch Games Can Be Played?-
Hey forum!
So There was this super sale on SEGA Games on Steam and I bought me their game "Alpha Protocol" (srsly 90 % off, it was only 2 euros) and something called "Dreamcast Collection" a Collection with the Games "Space Channel", "Brass Fishing", "Taxi Driver" and, wich was the only reason I bought it "Sonic Adventurs DX"And I keep wondering, Why the f⬆ck doesen't anybody care about real classics? I mean, people don't Even like Games like Donkey Kong, or Super Mario or Sonic and so forth just because they Are unupdated. I mean, The Nintendo 64 was the best Gaming Console I ever had, and ever will have. I grew up with it, and when I Play Games from my childhood I Get a pinch of nostalgia (And im 14, very few things give me Nostalgia)
I like Games from the late nintees, because I was a Child then, but now nobody can't stand Games that have like 10 million voxels in each f⬆cking bush they find! -
I love it when Indie Game Developers make pixel Games! (MineCraft is the best game of the last century) But oh so many Need all these New MW3 and what not (wich is ok, I like Them to!) but why can't you go back and Play a game from when you were 4-5 Year old, and enjoy that?
Anyway, Am I the only flippin' 1337 hardcore uber Sonic fanatic?

Sorry if I had some failed grammar or repitition or some meaningless sentences
Im very tired... -
Personally I grew up with the tale end if a commodore 64 and the amiga... I'd love a revisit to a lot of old games... Flashback, another world, project x, cannon fodder...
Dates me a bit -

I remember when my dad bought the Nintendo 64, I was 3 years old. I was just sutring There watching him, observing. Now im what most people classify a "gamer" so yeah, thanks dad... -
I was just sitting There*

Super Mario Allstars is my all-time favorite. The classics. My son likes all these new Sonic games & I hate them; they're so hard to control. I get so frustrated when he asks for help on them because I just don't get it. Only the Sonic ones though.

I haven't tried the New Sonic. I don't Think they release Them for the PC, and to be honest K hate the WII... I woulda exchanged it in a heartbeat.
Nope, Nintendo 64 was the last thing they got right.
Now they Are being crushed under Sony and Windows. Sonic used to be Nintendo only I Think.
Now they keep selling to Sony, I don't Think the New Sonic Games Are for PS though, or Are they? -
I still kick ass on PAC man and have italia 90 on my sega megadrive, I also got a classic megadrive thing for ps3 so can now play street of rage, golden axe, echo the dolphin and all that schizzle in hd, still looks like shit but can't leave em alone.

PACMAN is so awesome
I seriously know people that don't like Pacman. I know gamers that don't like Pacman 😿😿😿 -
I love the legend of Zelda. Not the the rubbish DS and Wii version. The good old classic one on the nintendo 64.
Ah it was so awesome :/
Don't make games like that anymore -
Gotta say the WII is a breathe of fresh air when you consider that sony and microsoft were and are basically providing the same thing.
It's a novelty but it was needed or you wouldn't have the playstation move or the konect for the xbox -
I was one of the only kids that never owned a copy of Zelda.
Im serious, I see it's a good series, but im just not gonna Get involved with it now when I never Played it as a child -

You woulden't
But kinect and move is not Really popular by the ages 15-28 (or something like that) wich is were video Games æll
Most
Wii, Move and Kinect sells in the Child era, which is the 2. Best selling era.I remember when a grown ass man could Play a game about hedgehogs.
Now he either gives his child a WII and plays his war games alone. Or worse, let's his Child
Play his wargames with him :( -
I don't know about n64 being the best system ever but it was good. I started with a hand held atari then went NES, gameboy, n64, ps1, xbox, psp. I'd have to say the old games are fun but the new games hands down are better then the classics.

Who remembers bubble bobble. And lemmings, I used to absolutely love lemmings! Golden axe. There was a game I used to play on snes, you were apes climbing buildings to smash them to pieces...what's the bloody name?!

But I still love 'em classics. But too many people answer like you, so I'll have to go singleplayer ;) -

Japanese game designere definantly have no life...

I downloaded streets of rage 2 on my ps3 so I could re-live my childhood, graphics and gameplay still as awful as when it first came out, but now I think about it more I may have to purchase some old classics 👍
-
Its all about Q-bert, frogger, kangaroo, joust and Congo bongo.
-
Haha. This thread is hilarious since I'm 25. Like when superyan referred to the n64 zeldas as classic. I owned a golden cartrage legend of Zelda for the nes. That's classic. Zombies ate my neighbors, paperboy, sim city, final fantasy 2, shadowrun for sega genesis, sonic 3 with the option to plug in sonic one and two, to make a longer game. Anyone else ever own a philips cd-I, or the panasonic 3DO? Worst systems ever made. I mean night trap? What the hell was that game?!?
