Big difference between blended (cheaper) and single malt Scotch.
My favorite is Dalmore single malt. I had the opportunity to do an extensive tasting in Scotland and that's what I found for my brand.
Davey, it's hard to find but worth the search.
Bella, a woman as great as you should only be drinking single malt.

You are correct, from the same region I believe. Good, but to me, Dalmore has a better taste and is smoother.MalAdOsteo wrote:

You really can't go wrong with either.

I love them all, however my favorites would probably be the peaty ones Laphroig and Laguvulin, Oban is also good, I always have these in the house, shame they are currently almost empty :(
-
Laphroaig cask strength is good, the flavours need to be released by adding a few drops of water, it is quite strong at 57.8%, I recently found Ileach is also good but not so available

Just got a botlle called Snow Grouse, very smooth, no throat burn at all. Also unusual as it's the first whisky ive had that the bottle label recommends that its served extremely chilled…
Get in the fridge, I will see u later my friend ;) -
I like Jameson. Dunno if thts a scotch or whiskey but I like it.

Clan McGregor scotch will give you the rumble gut

Yeah Jameson is my drink of choice. and affordable. I love Irish whiskeys for their balanced sweetness without being too caramel like their American counterparts. Someone had mentioned maker's mark- that's American bourbon whiskey, and also delicious. I cannot fuck with Jack or Jim tho. vomit city.Nailz⚡ was here wrote:

I don't love all scotch, for the burning turf peaty-ness of it. like someone chewed a mouthful of charred soil with the drink, spit it into a chinois and served it to me. i find lagavulin to be a bit much for my tastes. I do like some single malts like Highland Park and MacCallens with just one ice cube, no water. I get sad when I see people do shots of single malts. I appreciate they are regional, the craftsmanship and aging that go into them. I really wish I liked scotch more than I do. I can handle johnny blacks and blues okay too.

Oh ice???
Really?? -
I have a few bottles, most have been mentioned here. I have to say for a very smooth blend my favorite is Old Pulteney. I had a buddy that would bring me a few bottles over when he visited his parents over in Scottland. If you have neve had it, I would highly recommend it.
