iPod screen cracked

After countless years of abuse and getting run over by my bike twice, along with getting kicked down a street, my iPod screen cracked. While I had it in my hand. I picked it up, and *crck* I heard glass break.
Damn apple. And my extended warranty ran out two months ago.

You can fix it yourself. There is a how to on YouTube. My brother had to replace his twice already.

I've replaced mine too. The kit only cost $15 and is really easy to do. Make sure you get the full assembly, not just the glass.

I've actually heard of that
I had to put a new battery and processor in this iPod. You wouldn't believe the crap I go through to revive this iZombie.
I'm buying myself a cowon player for music. This will be turf wars only.

I was surprised to find that you can actually get iPad/iPod/iPhone/certain droid screens at eye glass shops for way cheap. Like 5 bucks. The apple tech guy in my area sent me to a lenscrafters, when I said I didn't want to wait for my iPhone 4 to get shipped out and fixed, since the store was out of screens. The lenscrafters guy even put it on for me. I tipped him an extra 5 because I was impressed by the fact I could get my phone fixed at an eyeglass shop under the table lol. My mind was blown until I got an orange julius on the way out of the mall. I was more impressed by the frothy goodness of the juice blend. But I didn't tip, because that would be stupid.
