I'm running it and I jailbroke my iPhone 3 days ago. It's not that stable at the moment. It's a tethered jailbreak which is useless.

iOS 5 does drain ya battery but hope that will change in the GM release which is due in a few days.....

I wouldn't pay to have your UDID registered because they may release iOS 5 within weeks. Let me know if you want more info.....

Hmm I think I'll just hold out until alpha release. I hope it doesn't do to iPhone 4 what iOS4 done to iPhone 3G! My gran runs faster than a 3G on iOS4!!!

So far I haven't had any issues where it has slowed my iPhone 4 down. It's pretty responsive and stable. Just the jailbreak a bit doggy at the mo! If you decide to install iOS 5 beta u can always go back to 4! Like I said just the battery is worse at the moment.
