I received an ITunes giftcard for my birthday. I entered the code twice (and its correct. Im sure) and both times it said it was not recognized. The card has not been used! Is there someone I can call and complain and more importantly willitunes do anything about it?

Sounds like they havent activated your card when it was bought , it happend to me the other week , now i enter the code before leaving the store just incase they dont activate it

I couldnt do anything i didnt even look at my reciept i threw it out before i got home , then i realised it didnt work and couldnt even check to see if it had been scanned whem i got it , dammit i learnt from that

Yes enter it before you leave the store I done that before. once you leave the door there's nothing they could do about it

send the card info to apple tech suppourt, they might be able to help

Just check with whi brought it, if it's activated, could be an honest mistake, and the sooner you say something the better the chance the receipt is still around
