Game looks promising. USA only I think but look anyways. Called life is crime. The company put $8.5 million into this. Graphics are clean. Yeas it has full buildings and graphics on map. Only in beta so not quite fully developed but shows promise. Still figuring it out and I'll update

It's a true gps too. First I've ever seen. The man would rejoice

Looks interesting, Nick needs to get Turf Wars on Android to nip them in the bud.

Even so if Nick ever wants to exploit the Android Market, he needs to get in quick before this takes off.

I think it's clear there will be no android version

8.5 million!? This game had better be good.

Big flaw. Not close enough to businesses at my house to do missions. I can still fight at home. But need to be out to perform missions

Is it for iphone too? Or just android?

I'll read it tomorrow. But I'm very curious what that level of capital investment in a mobile device game can achieve and what the developers hope to achieve. The only thing I can think of is they have backing and resources from a mainstream developer who can get to market on a global scale. Like angry birds did. But, the game will have to be revolutionary!http://venturebeat.com/2011/09/14/red-robot-labs-raises-8-5m-for-location-based-mobile-gaming/

Well it's a gps company that will produce multiple games on multiple platforms. Probably iOS soon too. Their network is designed to data base multiple games. I'll have a full review on this pilot game tomorrow. I'm moderately impressed btw. I just figured out how to cap territory🔥HELL RAZOR🔥 wrote:

K. New negative. You can lose reputation for attacking low levels a lot. I don't like this for a gps. Because you're already very limited by who's near you. And I'm not by any locations at my house so attacking became the main activity. So essentially this game is saying I can't play more than a few minutes a day.

I like it. It's just a bit complicated right now. There are a lot of features but dont kno how to get mob yet

Once I'm back in the states maybe, doubt it would work very well in Qatar, I know Shadow Cities didn't. 😒

Just got it.... Looks promising!

K. Full description reviews and a few tips for those trying it. Game has some great ideas. You add locations by doing am action there. Actions include missions, sending drugs (must be within 500 meters to do this) or fighting (can be further away for this). Mob is added through profiles Facebook or twitter Or buyin henchies (no codes). Mob isn't the fighting system it just adds bonuses. fighting is used for xp cash and to get more points toward a property. Each property has a leaderboard. Being on the leaderboard at all gives you cash but you make more if you're the top player known as the kingpin.
-
All in all I give the game a good grade. Things I'd like to see is gang wars which I hear are coming. I'd also like to see a way to manage your current property when not at the gps location. Currently you can only access leaderboards by bein there or from reading your news.

If mob isn't the fighting system, then what are fights based on?

They have a huge variety of weapons that are equipped to only the main player. Also there is a vast encompassing bonus system that takes into account a variety of stats. And their random factor is more random than ours. All in all I'd say the fight system seems fair. I've taken out players stronger than me more than once as well a gotten my ass beat by weaker playersIf mob isn't the fighting system, then what are fights based on?

Normally, every time somebody puts up a post about other GPS games, they don't seem to be very popular. Turf Wars has won over the players every one so far. Wonder if this thread is going to lose nick some players?

Doubtful. Of course since this is for android users who can't play tw direct on their phone there is a chance. Solution. Fascinating. Mob actually doesn't have anything to do at all with how often you win. Mob instead is a damage modifier. Win percentage is decoded by reputation (basically influence) attack power and a random factor.
