Also, how easy or hard is the final driving exam?
I learning how to drive and I'm just wondering.

I failed it three times.
1st for not stopping at a stop sign, not indicating on a roundabout, and speeding
2nd was stopping too long at a stop sign...
3rd was not having a rubber grip on tge clutch pedal
and 4th I passed with flying colours..

Then I had to do a log book. Which took 2 weeks.

Then I had to do a Hazard perception test....

Then I FINALY got my license... A lot of fucking around for a little white card...

I got it the day of my 16th birthday, 20 years ago. I got like a 96 or something on the written test & had no problems with the driving part. (I can't remember if the driving part had a score.) Just study the book for the written test & take Driver's Ed for the driving test.

I failed twice...once for just sucking bc I was driving a minivan and the second was bc I didn't look in my mirrors enough...still pissed about that bs.

Passed the written and behind the wheel easily. 2 mistakes on the written, one was about what to do when a baby is in a locked car by themselves, which was stupid cause it was
Nothing to do with driving.

Driving test I got 1 mistake. Which was letting a pedestrian walk when I was suppose to go one of those roads with 4 lanes.

Now I am your daily Aggressive driver.

Got my license in 1986. Had a 98% on written test and missed 2 on driving test. First mistake was being too close to curb when making a right turn. Second was in the DMV parking lot where they had two consecutive stop signs 30ft apart before pulling onto the street. I only stopped at the second stop sign, totally blowing thru the first one. 😺. Have not been pulled over by police in over 10yrs now. Knock on wood 🔨.

I got mine in a small town. 10 min driving test. I went flying through 3 uncontrolled intersections and said after the third one, "oops, those were uncontrolled" tester said "that's ok". But gave me crap because I was in the intersection turning left and the light turned yellow and I finished my turn. She said I should have sat until the next green light. 98% somehow. I should have failed. Ten minute driving test. No written test.

Little over 23 yrs ago. Don't remember my score but I read the DMV manual and passed within a week. Took the driving test in my Mom's van--sheesh-parallel parking uphill was a beast. But I did it!

Passed 9 years ago, back then the written part had just gone to touch screen PC, freaked out a bit and failed that first time, and failed actual test 3 times, expensive..... But perhaps made me a better driver in the long run

The driving test in the u.s is by far the easiest in the world it's the only country where u can do the test in any language yet all the road signs are in English

I got my permit this Monday. The test was EASY. I'm getting my full license in April on my 17th birthday. The DMVs around here are easy. At one all I'd have to do is drive around a parking lot and stop at a few stop signs. At another all I'd have to do is drive around a neighborhood.

I got my license at 17.5 years old. Neither of my parents put much effort into me in high school and I didn't get behind the wheel until I was 17. I failed the driving test for doing a rolling stop turning right at a stoplight. Barely passed the driving test the second time, getting a 77 on the test. Parallel parked perfectly, but did hit the cone pulling out. Oh well I passed. One accident in my 13 years driving. Rear ended someone 10 years ago. No tickets or accidents since

In Texas in 1991 it was the touch screen test. I think they were fairly new at that point, but I'm not positive.
