As I was sitting at my PC about to punch in some more codes, I was notified of being targeted for another Vendetta by someone in Chicago. I have to be careful of my turf I placed while traveling because if they were destroyed I couldn't get back there (same for anyone), they've since dropped the Vendetta.
So I had an epiphany, to stay on top I have to continue to punch in codes, which is work. It's not fun. You have to review the websites daily to keep up and/or just spam your code everywhere which encourages AND rewards spammers. Second, in order to grow I have to take turfs (wanted to hit 200 with minimal complaining).

Not a problem I can avoid it by reducing turfs to 1inf, oh wait that's work too and so is looking around for all the other turfs that are vulnerable. All in all it takes the fun out of placing turfs in areas you aren't local. It seems there is no middle ground, the game is Turf Wars, yet when you take turf there's so much drama, if you continue to take turf you get vendetta'd... so when is it ok to take turf, when the player has already quit?
Then I realized since attack/defense stats don't matter, everyone is literally a carbon copy of everyone else. It all comes down to who put in more work to punch in codes. There's no diversity in weapons, we've had the same missions from day 1. This all forces everyone into the same mold, the only variable being mob size.. which is work. The last kicker was acknowledging the map is just a big sheet of paper, claiming turf in po'dunk no where (if there are players) means exactly the same as claiming time square in NY city.

The last item, which I feel most of the player base doesn't even realize is the 30% rule. Mini gun + armor defense is 31, and RPG + armor attack is 24. This means to win with any sort of consistency you'll need about a 30% larger mob armed with RPG's. That works with smaller mob size, but when you get into the 2 and 3 thousand range, it's broke. (E.g. to beat someone with a mob size of 2500, one needs a mob of 3250, a difference of 750, that's a huge margin and when you are growing by 2-8 members a day is insurmountable and is only exasperated the larger mob sizes grow).

But you'll continue to see posts popping up of "Why can't I beat X player" due to this, which leads to my point about the 30% rule, it truly hurts smaller players. Why do you ask? With my current mob size of ~3,200 I have to go slumming for anyone at 2,400 and below, to be safe I look for anyone 2,000 and under. This trickles down to any smart player aware of this rule.. you get the idea. So instead of looking for someone closer to my size, I slum. It encourages slumming.
With all this, I've sold off my offensive upkeep, I won't be resetting, I'll leave my turfs up and at the given rate of mob growth, most players (besides Nixon) should be able to capture them in a few months... Enjoy.

My last post applys to you... I had a Vendetta against me. You know who they are. Your one of those punks I'm talking about.. I sold all my turfs. I was being attack like crazy.
This is turf wars. You guys that are 2500 3000 3500 attack us daily. I do the same I attack people daily too. Who doesn't. But when there's a Vendetta against you, you guys really do cry.. Since the Vendetta started guys like you can't take a beat down. Your reseting.
Thats not me. A true mobster fight. You and the others can't take a beat down. Rascuashe beg me. He has 2500 plus. Just take it and fight..
