It's probably similar to phantom pains that people feel when they have a body part amputated

Your body gets used to the frequency your phone emits. If you notice your leg vibrate where your phone would be, a text or something is probably incoming or there is some sort of data being transmitted and your body is recognizing it.

😳NICE!😳Yeah I get that. It's like you get so used to it that your brain tricks you into randomly feeling/hearing it. Usually for me though, it's the sound & sensation that my vibrator makes.

What's that shit you smoking? Pass it over here.

I get it alot, maybe it's anticipation of a phone call or a notification that makes you think like the phone is going off when it's not.

I've experienced this phenomena countless times. I thought I was mad. It was worse with nokia for some reason. But yes on occasion I would feel the vibration, check my phone and nothing. Then as I was putting the phone back in my wallet it would ring. Very mysterious. When it does "vibrate" is there a person on the other end trying to talk to u

What about when you charge it? Its out of the pocket then too right?

It happens to me. I as well keep my phone on vibrate. It's less distracting and I can't stand ringtones. It does seem to happen more often when im anticipating a call or text.

It happens to me, also when I have it in my pocket and feel vibration but no one called/texted me. Weird.
