My first couple days as a freshmen were pretty crappy. My locker was so far out of the way from my classes that I just use my backpack..... Thank god I stay after school for hw

My freshman year I transferred to a school that taught kids with learning disabilities. I was diagnosed with ADD so I got in. It was the easiest school ever. I literally did about five homework assignment total in two years. Then I went to a private school so it would look good for college. My freshman year was a vacation basically. Plus I was literally the smartest, and most socially inept kid in the whole place, so I hung out with seniors and so I did all those awesome senior rites of passages twice.

I don't mean I was the smartest, and most socially inept, like I was some kinda god. I was just normal, and all the other kids had social issues, and concentration problems. It's like a hanging out with ugly friends at a bar. You look better by comparison.

Jansport bag all the way. I still have/use mine which I got when I was 14..... I'm 28 now!!

Oh, you've got to have something to complain about. While your grandparents had to walk five miles uphill in both directions in the snow, you can complain to your grandkids that your locker was so far away you had to carry your own bags. Or you could get a wheelie backpack.

Kids will all gave tablets and be paperless. It'll be more like "you had to carry how many books grandpa?" or simply "what's a book?"

I got this backpack when I was 14 and I still use it @ 30. it was military.

My first 5 days were the WORST! I didnt know anyone, didn't talk to anyone, and just did my work silently. But now that everyone knows eah other I can't shut up. Silly me.

We dont have lockers due to people bringing drugs to school. I'm in my Junior year.

Lockers?!? These kids are spoilt...when I was at secondary school we had to put our stuff desks right up to sixth form!
