the dev hasn't made it a priority to add in app forum search, so expecting others to leave app to google search first is ridiculous imo.

for a noob that probably wouldn't even know the active players from a year ago it's unnecessary and irrelevant that they find some moldy thread from a year ago.

this is supposed to be a fun and relaxing gaming forum to get to know current players.

this isn't supposed to feel like a doctoral dissertation requiring thorough archival research and historical analysis before speaking, lol

just let people post their random "getting to know you" threads relevant to today and leave them alone.

it's great if you want to do the legwork to bring back a year old thread for your own reasons, darlin.

just don't expect anyone else to do that; especially newer players who wouldn't necessarily find a year old bff thread relevant.

in the past I've gotten the impression that some here feel quite strongly that a repeat thread is unwelcome. my point is simply, let them post their current gen disc topic, even if a repeat.

I'll bump an older thread (like my age thread) if I see a new one was made. I think it's cool to add to it & see the continuity. What bugs me is when someone makes a duplicate when the (most recent) original was 2 days prior, simply because they didn't see the thread on the first page. That & how many xbox vs ps3 threads to we need? I groan if I even read the title on one of these now. 😄
