The UK met office has today declared a red alert wether warning with a 100% chance the hurricane will hit the North West of England.

It is unknown what time the full brunt of the hurricane will arrive but chances of severe damage to the area is for certain. Currently, strong gail force winds reaching 45mph are battering parts of Manchester resulting in delays at MAN. It it likely the hurricane will peak at beaufort 12 reaching Gail force winds in excess of 90mph. Hurricane TWFC has been known to cause chaos and damage to other parts of the UK, as history shows, it has always been a destructive natural force.

Residents of greater Manchester are urged to stock up of food and water, board up their windows, take in garden furniture and keep themselves and pets indoors. The storm is expected to last several days with a bright spell as we lead in to autumn.

Hurricane force resistance is futile.

Update. A devastating storm hit MAN airport last night. Sources say there were several casualties and nearly a 100 caravans destroyed. As to why there were caravans at an airport is unknown and is said to be under investigation by Greater Mancheater Police. Locals reported loud bangs around 11pm which lasted for nearly 1 hour. The met office has reported the storm to be heading further up and the Prime Minister has declared an immediate evacuation of the city. We will keep you posted and reports come in.
