I love how most of the devices that support this game do in fact feature auto correct. It's not even an issue of disregarding spelling most of the time.
There's going to be hundreds of different English written languages when a big enough solar flare hits the earth, and renders our devices, that spells for this new generation, utterly useless. I imagine the people who at least got at least 80% on their 4th grade spelling tests will rule the tribes.
But I'm just babbling random thoughts that enter my mind.

I believe the correct term is 'punctuation'. Punctuality is good time keeping. And if you want to be understood then yes semi decent grammar and coherence is a must. I get short hand on a non qwerty cell phone. Or in txt message when you're in the go. Short hand is different then what these kids cop these days. "KEWL" isn't any quicker to specll then cool. The errors I point out are punctuality vs. Punctuation. Where it changes the meaning completely. Read more then five books and writing "lik dis caws I kan" gets annoying and you can't do it.
