Slighty random and possibly unknown.
When you open the forum, wether it is GD or some other one, what determines when it says (1 new) etc.. ?
How is that classified.? Every 15 min. It all becomes old? Or what?

Could be every new comment posted after you Open the app. Right now I have loads of existing threads with (new).

Ok seems that when the app is killed from the background it goes away. But, what determines when they go away when you don't kill the app? It seems to make sense for there to be a specific way but I can't seem to be able to determine it.
