Well this is awkward...

...well if you guys know me at all I'm not one to ask life advice for complete strangers BUT, I will concede in this situation. To paraphase, I play football, we have a homecoming dance, I like a girl (naturally), how should/would/could I invite her or should I?
[I don't want to creep her out, we are friends and I don't want that to change] -
Simple if you are friends and want to stay that way just ask her as a friend to the dance in person in a semi-private area or when it's just you and her hanging out doing something and do it while in conversation pop it
-
Erm just pluck up the courage and ask. If you're friends and you don't want that to change just say so...?

I assumed. Have u considered she may say no or already be spoken for? That would make things a lil awkward, then u'd feel disappointed. But I u don't ask u'll feel that way anyway.YOU wrote:

Go for it, don't feel weird or anything.. Girls like confidence .. And what's the worst that could happen?, she says no? As long as ur friends that no big deal
-
I still have this problem... Even after all this time. You'll be better off just to go for it trust me. I was friends with my current girlfriend before we were together. But it is probably way different since you're still in high school (I assume) any way. Hope my advice somehow helped. Oh and if she says no it's not the end of the world just go on being friends and maybe at some point she will have the same feelings for you. (maybe but don't get too anxious over that, there are plenty of other girls out there) good luck
-
Yeah. Go for it. I believe in you kid.

Tell her you are a big fan. When she asks what you mean, tell her that you are that little red blinking light outside her window at night. Then ask her to the dance. Works everytime.

what I do is this...
Go up to her(public or private is fine, thou public is good if you want to share the embarrassment) and say
"Heeeeeeeyyy! _________ wanna go to the dance with me?"
If she says no, just say something like "Ok then, thats good with me."

Take tips from Ron......
Ron Burgundy: I don't know how to put this, but I'm kind of a big deal.
Veronica Corningstone: Really.
Ron Burgundy: People know me.
Veronica Corningstone: Well, I'm very happy for you.
Ron Burgundy: Um, I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books, and my apartment smells of rich mahogany. -

OMG I kinda played that on my last girlfriend when i first met her. It wasn't word for word but it got her attention. GL girls like confidence they pick up on that stuff. I don't mean make yourself look like a snob. But as someone out going and funTake tips from Ron......

If she says no, I'll go with you glman.

Tell her if she can't go to the dance with you, you'll have to ask her mother!...if the mother is a disgusting Hag, that's what she will be, and you shouldn't go with her anyway!!!

Jeez chef :P

Hi GL. If she is a friend, tell her you'd like to take her to the dance as a friend. This may make her feel more comfortable that there will be no expectations beyond that. Treat her like a lady should be, but watch for signs during the nights festivities. She may secretly like you but is to shy to say or may not want to lose your friendship. Just be cool and don't try to push for more than she is willing to give. If she says no, tell her thank you and you were wanting to go with her to the dance since you value her as a friend and wanted to share this experience with her. There is no such thing as being rejected if your friends..... rejection only comes when your attracted to her for more than friendship. Good luck and have fun at the dance. ✌

almost same problem lol

You should bake her a cake or something... Or draw a picture of her. But make sure it's pretty much the best drawing you've ever done.

You guys are awesome...

Just ask! Most girls appreciate how difficult and nerve-shredding it can be to ask them out.
If she laughs in your face then she's just a bitch -
The worst the girl will do is say no in that case ask another girl... Just ask her to go, not as friends but no dating... If she likes then uv got ur self a nice situation.
-
If you want to ask her out, just grow a pair and the worst thing that could happen is that she says no, and you remain friends
