I need real life advise!

Okay, I have a nasty habit of losing things. Today I lost $50 dollars( found it just now) and my cell phone(still lost). This year I lost a series of things and now I'm getting frustrated with myself. Any tips on how to avoid this?

Have nothing! Got nothing to lose then! hope that helps! 👍

Or you could just take better care with your stuff?!!

Become a minimalist. Get rid of all the clutter in your room (advice I should heed..3 weeks, still unpacking. Losing things is my biggest pet peeve. I lose [no pun intended] my ever-loving mind when I can't find things).

Well I dOnt know about you but I just have a drill, I never leave the house without my wallet, keys and phone. 3 items, easy. All my cards and cash live in the wallet. Easy.

I second Bella.
Also, use mnemonic devices. Make a word or rhyme with the first letters of the things you need to always have with you. Pick a number. Mine is 4 = wallet, phone, keys, and sunglasses.
Google mnemonic devices for other tips.

Just designate specific areas of your house and always put those items there when you are done with them. It's a discipline I took up a while back and I rarely misplace stuff anymore. If you have an important item that you need to have when you leave the home next, put them right next to your keys. I have a clip on my keys and clip anything to the keys that I can't forget.
Consistency and discipline are the two key factors

I was just playing btw Justin. I have this nasty habit of keeping too much stuff in my pockets. And an even worse habit of taking things out one at a time an randomly setting them down all over the house...not too bad if it's my house but I do it EVERYWHERE. If I'm at a party the contents of my pockets end up strewn about the house. It's a terrible thing. I just mental checklist everything now. Wallet check phone check lighter check smokes check keys check. If I have all those I'm usually good (of course I've been smoke free since feb so that list recently got shorter).

Ok the simple thing to do is like what people said above. Keys phone and wallet! Make sure u use a wallet not just put money in your pocket Because that will always fall out.
But! The golden role is the pat down! I designate keys and wallet to left pocket and phone to right. Keys sperate from phone so it doesn't scratch it. And the wallet goes on top of keys so that your keys never have to come out every time you need your wallet.
Then every time you stand up or leave anywhere pat your pockets to make sure it's all there!

Wow that was long sorry!

I have developed a habbit of running my own little check list to make sure i have all my things of importance like my wallet, key etc... Helps make sure i have everything. Also if im using something i make sure i put it away. You really just needs to make your own system or something, best thing to do is break the bad habbit by starting a good one.

Dummy cord them to yourself...meaning... tie a rope to each item you want to hold on to and then tie the other end to you...problem solved...next question. Too easy!

Try calling your cell. Sometimes they ring or vibrate when you do that.
