I've scoured Google a lot and I can't find anything tethered or even hope on the horizon. It's bumming me out how limited my device is. Anybody know of a tethered jailbreak? I'm about ready to just sell the ipod unless I find something soon

Green poison can jailbreak 4.3.5. You can also get iOS 5 for free.

You can only jailbreak 4.3.5 tethered. Unless you have an SHSH blob saved from a previous jailbreak. Sorry :(
