Catfish still spammed that area with turf.. We couldn't cap him when we were on top oh him... So this is ok because he had a different reason to drop his mob gradually? You're not answering the question. I'm saying the reasons behind catfish dropping mob were completely different and even before plane tickets came out and still under the protectuon of the 10% rule. Therefore there was no dbr in australia to fight. Yeah the Aussies hurled the first stone but they didn't want dbr there. Simple. I'm trying to highlight the difference between catfish dropping mob and hayemaker aka 3 man army. Hayemaker dropped mob to take advantage of the fact that no one in the cluster of turf could cap him and then started a v. It's the background context that is the issue here.

Ohh so if you have a good excuse you can get away with it ?Catfish didn't drop overnight. Start a v then plant all over everyone. In fact catfish did sod all for ages until DBR started arriving en masse to australia and capping everyone.
Incorrect random I was there for 2 weeks did not cap a soul but was then capped out in a surprise attack one a Saturday afternoon, I think that's when the others started capping people.

I don't understand how this is a new issue. This is one reason why having a 2nd account as a mosquito became the latest fad - to take advantage of the difference in cap range. That's been going on for months.

First off I as dbr members can contest to I didn't like them exploiting the RULE. But it was a system rule. Bloke and I in our theories came uo with this scenario ages ago as he can contest to. The system has had months to iron out. I don't disagree that it's a bad system to take advantage of and bad for the game as a whole but banning without a friendly warning that a line was crossed was unfair in my opinion. Thuglife wasn't given anything for his exploit and that one had a higher impact than this one did. Nick I think 9 times out of 10 you're one of the most fair devs I've ever see but in this one case I must respectfully disagree with the way it was handled

He knew what he was doing and did it intentionally with malice aforethought, end of IMO!

Who determined it was against the so called rules before we continue ?

Nick or others ?

Maybe it's because he's seen how out of control people can get with exploits (such as becoming Influence Wars) that he chose to tackle this issue ASAP. We've added a notice to the player vendettas screen with the details of a rule change intended to counter this exploit (go to your profile, then tap the Vendettas button). The new rules will take effect 9/9 at 12pm EDT (1600 GMT).

So has army of 3 ban bin revoked ?

If you suspect anyone is exploiting this loophole, please report via Feedback, not post in the thread. Thanks.

Wow, no more sniping!

Important Change to Vendettas
Effective September 9th at 12pm EDT (1600 GMT), the capture distance of your turf will be based on the biggest mob of all the players in your vendetta, instead of just your own mob. For example, if you have a mob of 1500, and are a member of a vendetta with 3 players of mobs 1000, 2000, & 4000, the combat system will now use the 4000 (instead of 1500) number for determining your turfs’ minimum capture distance when they are attacked. This will also be reflected on the turf screens of your turf.
Only players who are members of vendettas will be affected by this rule change – no other changes are being made to the combat system at this time.
In the meantime, any players determined to be exploiting vendettas by using players with small mobs to plant turf intended to destroy other players’ turfs may be banned until the new rule takes effect. Serious or repeat offenders may be permanently banned.

Guess I wont get many vendetta invites now...

Good I hope he stays banned. Let that be a lesson for people who cheat. He knew what he was doing so pays the price. Maybe all the other mules will think twice now.🍀Swagger🍀 wrote:
Yea but point is he's been banned until it's fixed. Nobody got banned wen dropping inf.If cap range was linked to level, maxing out at 30, this wouldn't be an issue.
If such a fix is applied, those who have deleted mob, will be at a major disadvantage as recovering them is far harder.

Does that mean a third party not involved in the vendetta will be able to cap from a greater range? We've added a notice to the player vendettas screen with the details of a rule change intended to counter this exploit (go to your profile, then tap the Vendettas button). Well said nick. The only people that will complain about this are the ones that cheat and exploit itRemoving mob is not against the Terms of Service. However, doing so to take advantage of vendettas is an exploit, and it is quite easy to tell who dropped their mob to take advantage of this. Those found exploiting this (or any other) issue (as determined solely by MeanFreePath) are going to be temporarily banned until a reasonable fix can be made. Repeat and/or egregious offenders may be permanently banned.
The time for consequence-free exploiting is over.

Seeing as the council is booting all you lot from basildon no doubt you will need some time to get your caravans to a new gypo site by maccy d's so you can rip off their wifi. We are willing to cease attacks on you while you move. But if anyone of you comes knocking at any twfc door offering to pave our driveway. The deal is off. Think it over -

Do you mean as in the cap range of the vendetta members will only come in to effect for the targets? Or the moment a smaller player steps into a v with a larger player anyone can cap them from range?nick wrote:

The only people crying is DBR because a cheat got bannedAt random. Pffft!!! My ass you didnt cry, more like you got every single twfc member to submit feedback.
It was a tactic like low inf. A tactic you could have countered against. But no you didn't instead you complained/cried.
