I'm all about people worshiping whomever and whatever they want, but when a whole country stops serving food till dusk and you can't get any work done for an entire month, something needs to change.
I sincerely hope this is the last Ramadan I ever witness first hand, having a full week off after a month of frustration "almost" makes up for it. ๐

Happy Hari Raya

Lol it must be tough where you are buddy. Personally I feel for the folks who live in countries that aren't Muslim and have to live and work as normal while trying to keep the faith this way.I'm all about people worshiping whomever and whatever they want, but when a whole country stops serving food till dusk and you can't get any work done for an entire month, something needs to change.

The man lives in a Muslim country , during Ramadan ( lasts for 30 days ) people stop serving food from early morning to evening and obviously it's hard for him as he doesn't fast ... On the other hand I live in a country where food is always around me even though I'm fasting.
I'm the worst person when it comes to explaining things but hope that made sense!

Salem malakem?

No it's not, it's their country so they can do whatever they want. The eating part isn't the worst, the reduced working hours and the inability to get simple things done work wise is the most irritating.
I wouldn't call it mean and jerkish though, you need to have more tolerance towards other religions before calling them that. โ

You explained it perfectly, but like I just said above it's not the food part that gets to me, it's the almost complete shutdown of the govt and commercial services.
Things will be back to normal next week work wise.

Well, not quite back to normal...... Although they will be eating, they will still be partying for the next month with fireworks going off at midnight. Must be really difficult for Muslims in northern climes with very long days and short nights. At last near the equator the nights and days are the same length.
