Apparenty NYC has given up. And given "you know who" free range to do whatever he wants. I guess NYC isn't as bad ass as they claimed. And with 1 influence turfs. Knobody can ever stop him. And knobody even seems to care. Why don't you all reset already and give him a empty city?
-
Vendettas are completely useless because as soon as you chain out to any 84's he can drop them all to 1 and simply wait a week. Then he can go back to capping everyones turf in ny. He already whiped out most of Brooklyn and immediatly turned them all to 1's. Apparently the key to this game is only build 1's. If I dropped all my turf to 1 then I would never need to mob up and I could even sell of all my weapons. Everybodys always looking for a easy button. Well that's it. With a army of 400 1 influence turf knobody could ever stop you and you could still cap anyone you wanted.
-
Meh you new yorkers should send wave after wave of vendettas against him, untill this 1 influ thing is sorted out, but tbh you shoud have stopped him before he got in
-
im not really a new yorker, i was trying to help everyone there tho and they all seemed to have fell through. many have given up and others have reset. That and attacking a 1 influence doesn't drop the income that much because it doesn't make that much anyways. He can build all he wants and nobody is capable of stopping him. And yes your right. someone should have tried to stop him before he got there but they all claimed to be bad-asses so... apparently hes the bad-ass running them all out of their own city now. I could care less, except It seems like I got hung out to dry as the only one left who is attacking him and being attacked by him. Not to mention his mob climbs daily.
-
god bless the city of brotherly love!

Well the new yorkers need to just work together to get rid of the thug

they have allowed him in, where he has spread a whole bunch of 1 influence turf everywhere like a virus. He has already almost wiped out Brooklyn. And is poised to do the same in NYC. His mob builds daily and so dose his turf count. With 1's being un0touchable he can build up quickly to cap someone & then tear them both down to 1's again and nobody can do anything about it. he has truly found the "secret" to TW. NY should all reset and get it over with.
-
They should all get into defensive vendettas untill the 1 influence changes are made

again howard, good ideas but its too late. they all have already used vendettas to no avail and now are stuck waiting 30 days while he runs them all out of their own city. I also am desperately waiting for 1 infl changes but i fear it will be way too late. Im about to abandon NYC and let him have it with no fight whatsoever. like i said in my post none of them seem to care anymore. Im simply waiting for everyone else in NYC to reset too. Then Im out. They should all get into defensive vendettas untill the 1 influence changes are made

This right here is why the vendetta rule needs changed. But "that guy" is definitely going to still grow mob because so many new players join every day. I'm doin my part in trying to get as many to delete him as possible but he is still going to grow some. This is a serious hole in the game Nick. The majority of big dogs now know about the 1 influence loophole. I hope you eventually fix this

you know what... I think im going to chain to Canada with a army of 1 influence turf and take over. Seeing as "he's" so spread out and pre-occupied with NYC i think Canada is the next step for me. Watch out Ehh?
-
Im coming for you Canada! He's your dog. Put him down or Im coming up north to do it for ya.

Yo nobodys running me out of

Lol @ "I'm about to abandon NYC and let him have it

I might have to take another trip to NY

I think the original strategy was the best. Why not send round chain letters via the comments to have him dropped. Lots of players who do not use the forum would be reached this way. Also it would not be using the forum and thus not anoying nick.

well it sure dosent look like anythings happening. His mob grows dispite efforts off the forum. Realisticly. As long as 1 influence turfs are untouchable then he can do as he wishes in ny. And knobody even you blox can Fo anything about it.Yo nobodys running me out of

Davey don't be so dramatic, this is a game not like this guy is taking your house. I'm sure the top ladies can hold their own.

Seriously I wish NYC the best of luck. Hence why do you think I'm in a vendetta against him now. However I hop to any of his 84 infl and he drops them down immidiatly. Not like I'm could care because realistcly regardless of mob size. Knobody can touch him. So it's not like I haven't been trying.

I don't belive it's ever possible to put anyone in the negative income. Especcialy him. This game has no way to ever possibly beat someone now. Maybe that's the way Nick likes it. Nobody ever wins and nobody ever looses. It's a win win. Fine by me. I'm heading up north to go plant 100 1 influence turf next to him in Canada. Just to bug him. Muahahahaha.

And FYI. Im not from NYC. I simply chained up to meet friends and help boost some income. I'm no invader.
-
The way I'd combat this if I were nick is set the game this way
1. Once a turf gets to 84 influence it can be destroyed in a vendetta whether they're 84 or a 1 influence.
2. Damaged or one influence turfs make nothing. If you have a 1/84 influence turf your should make 1/84 of it's fully influenced value. If I had a 49k per hour turf whose influence was down to 8 my turf would make 4.9 k per hour off of it. That would hurt people more for leaving their turf influence down as compared to now which they're probably making 40k per hour on that turf
-
It takes patience to win. It's very possible. Vendettas do work if used right.
Everyone's gotten very comfortiable blaming very minor barriers for not suceeding.
-
See his turfs he keeps at 84? You needed someone there to take advantage. I don't know all the location details, but you need big hitters by turfs he thinks are safe.
Once you have that, then you can make your move, or force him to reduce to 1 everywhere, then he can't fund the upkeep.
Oh also the 1inf rule works both ways.
-
Turf warrior and Tom. You both have the exact right idea. As it stands now. I have moved in on about 10 of what were all 84. He has since dropped them all down to 1 where he continues to make plenty of money with a 1 and is safe from my vendetta. Once it's over however I'll be forced to take all my NYC turf down to 1 too. Seems like alot of cat and mouse games with no ending in sight. I'm all for a long term commitment to this thing but I can't be the only one defending NYC when I'm not even from there. (no offense to anyone who is trying. Its just that none of it works) if what turf warrior said was the case then anything that was once a 84 is fair game. I like that idea alot.
-
Yep, but he had a higher upkeep, no one can fund a 3k mob with 1inf turfs.
-
Tom and Nixon I have a ton of respect for you both but I disagree here. This way of slowly working someone down may work but only in a few unique circumstances. You have to be very dedicated and have other mobsters just as dedicated on taking them out by running them out of funds AND you have to be in a big city which has a bunch of people together with the same interest. Then you MIGHT wear them out and get them to quit. That is a very percentage of times that a vendetta can work. If a vendetta was actually able to take out turfs at one influence the person who loses the turfs would still be able to rebuild in most circumstances unless they're over their limit which means they had captured a ton of turfs. In that instance they're reaping what they sowed. It shouldn't have to be that you have to wear out their funds without being able to actually blow up turfs. I doubt that is what Nick had in mind when he created vendettas
