I believe it'll be fine. I'm not there this week so I was just wondering what the buzz was there. My girls brother isn't going anywhere(Chinatown). His girls family boarded up the house(Brooklyn) and bailed.

I had to evacuate from AC this morning at 6 am. Scary...so now I'm in NYC...not mandatory though where I am 😱😱😱

I'm not in NYC but I have been ordered to evacuate. Leaving soon.

Yeah just some rain, and 100 mile n hour wind, and falling trees, and debris flying into windows oh and power outages yeah that's all, just that...

My bad, it's was what 65 to 85mph. That's enough for the old trees in my area to fall. Remember the freak tornado that hit queens last year? Hundreds of trees fell dude. I'd be pissed if my car or home is under one 😉

I read that 2 people died so far: 1 from a tree branch falling on him & 1 guy had a heart attack while putting up plywood.

You also have to be wary of possible tornados. While this isn't a "massive" hurricane, it doesn't mean it won't cause any damage.
