How many people in NYC are evacuating this weekend? Are you in the mando evac area?
-

-
Nope, not close to coast enough to evac
-
I believe it'll be fine. I'm not there this week so I was just wondering what the buzz was there. My girls brother isn't going anywhere(Chinatown). His girls family boarded up the house(Brooklyn) and bailed.

I had to evacuate from AC this morning at 6 am. Scary...so now I'm in NYC...not mandatory though where I am 😱😱😱

Yeah just some rain, and 100 mile n hour wind, and falling trees, and debris flying into windows oh and power outages yeah that's all, just that... -
Yea YIKES!!... That's all😳... Be safe

My bad, it's was what 65 to 85mph. That's enough for the old trees in my area to fall. Remember the freak tornado that hit queens last year? Hundreds of trees fell dude. I'd be pissed if my car or home is under one 😉100 mile per hour GrANe? Where did u get that from? News sez 70 mph gusts.

Yeah, I'm putting sand bags on turf as we speak, 😥 i need water

I read that 2 people died so far: 1 from a tree branch falling on him & 1 guy had a heart attack while putting up plywood.
You also have to be wary of possible tornados. While this isn't a "massive" hurricane, it doesn't mean it won't cause any damage.

I'm in zone B and a half. I'm not too concerned.

By the time it hits Boston it will be back to a 1. I heard Long Island is gonna be underwater.
