My other issue is that since they are all his devices they probably all use the same iTunes account. So each time he buys Don points the other accounts get to download them for free. That's taking money right out of The developers' pockets.

We're going to be deploying the mule income penalties in Sunday at 12pm PDT.
If more than 35% of your turf used to belong to a single player, you may want to tear it down or build more to reduce the ratio and avoid the penalties.

Again, there is no difference between what I am doing and what this other guy does with his 2 accounts (assuming the 2nd belongs to his gf). It's fair to assume they also get an income bonus due to proximat. also they will certainly stick up for eachother. If anything having two people punching codes is a plus!

that's silly. U'r the kind of person who runs to the furniture store to buy a new couch everytime the commercial says "save15%". If I couldn't use multiple accounts I would surely play less and spend less, not more. There are many games out there.

yeah I spend countless hours making weak accounts just to stand up for them w/a stronger one.

I didn't know I was not allowed to use multiple accounts in a vendetta. How am supposed to know that? I assume that it's ok for Omnius and his g/f to be in the same vendetta? So I will just give my other devices to wife and kids and help them a lot, considering they don't know how to play :(. This whole argument is silly.

I'm the gf and I do know how to play. I was building a strong account with turfs in my own area and a good win/lose ratio before I took any turf from 0mnïus. Whatever the outcome of this thread or nick's decision we will play and grow and have fun.

I can see/understand somebody using two devices.
And there are times when I think it's gettin close to the "sad" point with as much time as I send on this game.
But five accounts for just one person?

I think everyone has missed the bigger picture because Nick started out this topic by even mentioning the words "mule account". This is a good thing all around...because I personally think it's wrong for anyone to grab turfs mostly from one other player, regardless if it's a mule account or not. There are plenty of players out there (several already mentioned here), who have stated they have gotten most of their turfs from a single other player...whether it be from a player who has abandoned the game and doesn't care anymore...or from a much weaker player who didn't prevent their turfs from being captured. All of these situations, including "mule account" situations, are unfair to the general players out there who haven't come across a situation like this.

I strongly support the fact that Nick is finally moving forward with taking "reasonable" in-game action against players who mostly "mule" off of other players...in whatever fashion that might be.

So what your tellin me is... I get penalized because there's only 4 of us in my area and only 1 of them I can get turf from? When is this change supposed to take place? Is this why my income keeps droppin?

35%!! Some guy farmed off of me for months and I just took back all my turf and most of his! Over 60% of my turf belonged to him

If the turf that you took back was created by you, you should be OK. If he tore down and rebuilt, and that is what you captured...
