Do we have proof that noobs aren't sticking around?

Let's have it. Put up all the bad points an the evidence to back it. I don't want this to turn in to negativity. Keep it critical, hopefully Nick will take the discussion on board from player pov.
I used to get atleast 10 pm's a week from noobs asking me to join their Vs, now it's barely 5 a month. Also, looking at the V forum, hardly any posts daily from players asking for help. Surely that's 1 sign that the balance is off and new players dot stick around.
-
Look at the new rules, they all advantage the veteran players. I don't complain. We have entered the phase of player retention, toward the end of the game lifecycle.
-
Quick q off topic. Is Nick allowed to contact players outside of the game? Via email for eg...?
-
I get a few pm's from noobs, askin for help and such. I have had 3 players this week askin me to join a v. But I see wat your sayin am sure it used to be more.

Im here, but IDK if im a nolb or small player...

6-8 months ago, there were 350-400 temp codes available. Now there are 170-200 typically. That said, it's been at that range for the last 4 months. I'm not seeing a decline in temps.
-
Been getting a lot of pms myself recently. More than I cam ever remember.

All updates by nature benefit the vets. However 10% rule taken had pluses and minuses for everyoneßelial wrote:

Easy. Now smaller players can snag inactive players and others that are beneath their 10% as well. Although I'll be the frost to say that those at the upper tier of the food chain got the most out of the deal. Ftr I was against this particular method of change long before it was added for the harm to smaller players. However I can call it one sided
-
Idk guys. I've been seeing plenty of low level active players around. Right now it seems like we are actually back on a small climb.
-
Inactives don't usually get past level 25. Although I never thought about it that way. Thanks for taking the time to write a polite answer :)
-
I'm sticking around!
-
It has nothing to do with the updates really. It's everyone switching from Apple products to things like Android. Also, I have a friend who I tried to get playing, but he said it bored him. I guess the games not for everyone.
-
i don't know anybody who will spend time punching codes...not even for 5 minutes a day. this game definitely attracts a unique crowd.

Shoes, the amount of players who have the new loot is a dead giveaway. And I am surprised how many there are.

I 'm a new player and I'm finding it very hard to mob up and make impact in any way on this game
-
I'm new too and while I love the game anD will be staying as long as it's here I can't think of a single person I know who would punch codes as long as I have, let alone long enough to be a semi-decent player.
Any idea what the current game population is? If the app is released on android (if it isn't already??) then I'd expect player numbers to increase.
-
Some people just don't like the game simple as that.
When I found out it's punching codes to mob I thought it's not for me. Then I had a turf capped of somebody with few thousand mob got pissed of.
Then it just became a challenge.I don't think people are put of by having a small mob as most mobs alot bigger don't bother you.
Also you have to remember some people will just think it's a crap game -
I think all noobs should be given a local rival of similar mob so they are actually playing rather than just earning money off there turf

It's not the big mobs to worry about, it's the small to mid, like yourself. I know you cap much, much smaller player and inactives. Having a loose leash now means u can cap even more of these players. Some people just don't like the game simple as that.

Personally I think punching codes is probably the biggest problem. When first starting this game i thought no way am I punching thousands of codes.
Well I started to punch codes maybe about a thousand over a few months then got totally bored. Never punched codes since!
