I think Cupcake has a turf limit of 140 so he didn't spend a lot.

Bella has been on every leaderboard and has barely spent anything. I'm guessing when she sets her mind to it shell be right back on the influence board

Mob is everything in this game.
Punch codes, read the help forums and spread out your turf.
Don't spend lots until you are sure that you are going to stay the distance.

Why so loathe to spend money? For most forms of enjoyment/entertainment people spend money, and this game certainly takes up a lot of free time. Plus, someone has to support the devs. They may think up virtual games, but they certainly don't eat virtual food or live in a virtual home.

Probably because either you feel like you accomplished more if you don't buy your way to the top or he's cheap.
