Can somebody help me with my mom im trying to convince her to be vegetarian and i need some strong arguments
-
There are no strong arguments. Meat protein is necessary for proper health and balance
-
Why? Then you won't be able to eat BACON!
-
U can get protein otherways im sure
-
Tofu. And there's fish. Unless you want to be a true vegetarian in which case you better like tofu.

Soy protein isn't the same thing. Your body doesn't utilize it the same way. Proper protein is something all vegetarians struggle withTofu. And there's fish. Unless you want to be a true vegetarian in which case you better like tofu.

You can get every type of protein from amino tablets. .... But there is no replacement for a great steak! My view is that animal is already dead, if I don't eat it someone will..... Not eating it isnt saving any animals life. With that being said, veggies are great but eventually you are going to need to purchase some aminos

Milk is a great source of protiens, but you wouldn't be able to drink it if you were going all out.... So the real question is,
How far are you taking this vegitarian thing and how far do you want to have her take it. The vegitarian thing I mean. -
I think the real point is that there is no real reason to vegetarian. No real benefit.
-
Your only really strong argument is that it's killing off harmless animals,

Yes but those animals are going to die regardless. If you have Netflix have her watch "fat sick and nearly dead" and .... Let me look for it. There is another one.

Food Inc. I the name of the other one. They should help your cause. But these guys are all right. Humans didn't get this far by not eat meat. There is no, absolutely no reason what so ever for anyone to be a full on vegetarian. That is not how our bodies were designed to operate.

vegetarian has an upside. However:
Meat has proteins that help the brain, among other functions grow...example:
Watch the movie 2001: a space odyssey; watch closely in beginning with the apes... -
BACOOOOON!
-
Lucas, this is a losing argument. Depriving a body of meat not only means a loss of the main source of protein but good meat also carries other nutrients. The best thing a person should do is be very selective with the meats they eat, light marbling on steaks, low fat percentage ground meat, trimmed roasts plus adding fish and poultry to break the amount of beef intake. If this is truly a lifestyle choice you would want to make you need to do a lot of research to learn the dietary implications of that choice. Off topic a little bit.... to even contemplate this choice when you are from Wisconsin, you should be ashamed.... Brats and burgers are God's food.

I was a full-on vegetarian from 4th grade to 7th. And there are benefits: You're not eating a helpless animal that was kept in a small cage and butchered. Also, you can get plenty of protein from milk, soy, and tofu. I had Boca Burgers a lot, and those were delicious and a great source of protein. Lucas, tell your mom that it would be a great new lifestyle and she will gain a great amount of will power. I can now do anything that takes a lot of will power because of my vegetarianism. There are no strong arguments. Meat protein is necessary for proper health and balance

Stop using the helpless little animal argument. That animal is going to be killed regardless. You are not saving the dead animals life by choosing not to eat it. Someone like me will just come and purchase that poor little helpless already dead animal and throw that sucker on the grill. I don't care how it was raised I just know that it taste good and that it is natural. We as humans did not make it as far as we did on tofu and boca burger, or fake meats. We made it by konking what ever we wanted to eat on the head to survive. Humans are by nature carnivores. If we could survive and thrive on plants alone then why haven't our teeth from the carnivorous set that we have? Plain and simple fact. We are all carnivores.
-
And don't give me this genetically altered animal stuff either.... Do you think tofu and boca burgers are natural?? No they are not. Thee
Re is no escaping the fact that humans have survived and become the most dominant species by being at the top of the food chain AS MEAT EATERS. -

Anyway, there are many sensible arguments to BE a vegitarian, from an ecological point of view and for world food supplies it would be great if everyone was a vegi.
And the meat industry for the most part is brutal and you just can't escape that. In fact if you really look deep, it's truely vile.
But like religion this will always be a touchy subject, and you shouldn't attempt to umpose your view, you can't force some to BE a vegi, nor can you force them not to be one.
Unlike religion you can however find facts and figures and let people make their own choice. -
Quote fail!!

Wait until you are independent. If you are living at home it's not fair to expect her to cook for you. You can't just eat regular meals without the meat because it's an unbalanced meal.
-
I love a thick juicy tbone steak. I hate those shit lean meat cuts tho. Leave the fucking fat on there. It adds flavour and keeps it juicy. Fucking top class resteraunt my ass..

Vegetarians still cant not have protein.i had a friend who was a vegtsrian and he was as pale and thin as a starving albino
