Voluntary yes. But you can still end up being sued for using someone elses submission. Just saying. By asking for submissions you are opening yourself up to this possibility. And since all of these suggestions are recorded on this forum there is proof someone else named your show. You might be the one who actually wants to talk to a lawyer to find out if an offer of $35 on an international game forum constitutes a valid contract. Also since this is taking place in nicks game, on nicks forum, on nicks server, which is ruled by his TOS/EULA he might even be able to sue. I'm being serious here. You should probably look into it before choosing any of these submissions.
The submissions made sofar were all voluntary, if you dont want a chance at winning, then why are you trolling this thread? -
Actually this threadbwas clearly set up as a contest. The terms of the contest were laid out. If media picks your submission and pays out the don points then this thread will be proof of that. What I would do if I were you media is if you choose a winner I'd pm them get there email address, fire off an email to cover your ass before you pay out the don points. "by accepting the prize you hereby relinquish the rights to the name "awesome outdoor show" (or whatever). Easy.
