All godfathers that have hit me whilst hiding behind your inf 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊 keep your chin tucked in👊👊

Oh cool just got up to speed. Thank you Nick!!! This should solve the problem. Hard to stay below level 25 and if they are, u can attack the crap out of them and get them to 25 quickly. I love it!!!!

+ infinity!NICK YOU FREAKIN ROCK!!!! This is a great solution, and I agree, anyone that can't hold their water past level 50 is either lazy or milking the rule at this point. I want to thank the ton of players that have all went low inf, I'm willing to bet the rash of people using this rule to extremes was a catalyst to getting change. Have fun rebuilding to positive guys.

Yes and yes. By level 50 you should be able to take care of yourself :)This I like!

I'm really excited about the melee weapons. It's going to add a whole new twist to the game than fights being decided by guns and armor

I still don t get it, why would you allow the biggest players to be able to capture ALL the turfs in a city like Chicago for example. What stops Das Hyena from grabbing a 1000 turfs in Chicago if there is no inf check I am confused
I fail to see what way I have to not get all my turfs taken besides entering 50k codes. If that is the case then I suspect I ll reset and stop launching the app all together
if I read correctly the bigger you are the more you can cap now as long as you are in the city
not sure how this update is supposed to make me want to play more to tell the truth
if I can t defend myself besides typing 50k codes then...well this changes the game to benefit big players and people who buy henchs imo
-
Cupcake return happening?
-
Also if what I asked above is correct, how are you going to attract new players when now the number of mobs needed to not lose all your turfs seems to be in the 20k range?
If after level 50 one has no way to not get all turfs raken by a bully then you are looking at a situation where a single player can bsically control a whole town or airport and lock anybody from approaching said place and any retaliation would means lolz you have no more turfs
The more you type and the more you buy henchs the more power you get...not sure how this business move is supposed to work if it alienates small and new players
I am not complaining I am trying to understand what is going to happen
-
I liked the 10% rule before this. This will mean all mobsters under 10k are pretty much screwed. Vendettas aren't going to stop groups of 20k+ mobsters comin after you. I may be super small in mob and it may come of as complaining as I don't mob up but think of the effect on new players that Euro brought up. It is doomed and resets/quits will become an all time high if this rule goes into effect. Good luck to everyone but if this rule goes into effect without change. I'm not buying and more Don Points and probably not playing at all except for the forums. I'm not a big player I repeat, but big players will suffer once they all us smaller players quit.

Depends on what other combat adjustments are being made. Low mob players still have ability to snipe, which combined with V's can be deadly. Always a way.I liked the 10% rule before this. Smaller players might not know how to snipe..
-
Die and learn :) ... Makes the game interesting in any case. I lost 4 or 5 turf before I figured out how to snipe last year. Then lost more refining how to do it...takes practice.

OG CMS reunion! 👍

I think I will destroy all my turfs ...no real point in keeping them since I ll lose them all in 6 days.
I played for a year and liked to get as many capos as I could from towns far away requiring a lot of time to reach. At least I knew I could keep these and not have them captured or destroyed. Now all this work will mean nothing and all these turfs will get captured or destroyed with no other way to protect but typing 50k codes.
Time to move on I guess. I wish I could have continued that $20 a month but the endless code punching is not what I consider fun.
I hope you are making the right decision and I can t wait to see the outcome.
-
One more question, if you use a plane ticket to fly to an airport and get you turfs there imediately captured the next day by a big player there, you just lost a two week plane ticket. How does one protect turfs now and if you can t then shouldn t plane tickets not be restricted?
-
I like the 10% rule. It's the only thing that allowed me to get anywhere near heathrow when the plane tickets came out. Yes, I know, mob up. Punching is the only thing I dislike about TW, not punched a code yet this year.
Also, inactive or irregular players used to get capped down to this limit. Will the change mean every last turf can be lost? Sucks if you want to take a break. -

There's still cap limit euro

The more I think the more the solution for small players seems pretty clear. Base turf build cost on mob size. That way a small player will pay near nothing for their turf. Maybe lower upgrade cost based on small mob size as well. Let them get their turf up cheap and break even fast allowing them to rebuild and get a good positive bankroll fast

Won't this mean spending will be required on turf limit? As euro was saying, it opens him up for attacks from anyone so even if he constantly rebuilds, he will only ever have turf up to his limit. The more I think the more the solution for small players seems pretty clear. I bet there's a few mobs pretty worried about this change! -
Euro, it goes both ways. If a large player is capping everyone in the town, they likely will get a crapload of vendettas against them. He could get capped too. Neither side will have anywhere to hide. And why are u so sure that you're about to get capped out of Chicago?

Certainly THIS doesn't happen in turf wars, does it? I thought Philly and Berlin were for snacking. Tasty treats. No ?

The more you think about the change, and get opinions from the smaller player it will affect, the more you see it's not an entirely good change. I'm not gonna repeat myself or what euro and baz stated, but it's a clear problem. I don't think entirely removing the 10% rule with no thought for protection for small players is a clever move. It opens the gate for more players to give up and reset. In all honesty, I think this could be extremely devastating for the game.
-
This isnt a fix. The whole problem was huge mob players dropping inf to attack small players. All this rule change does is allows huge mob players to continue but with a much greater income.
