This rule needs to go or heavy penalty for people who use it.

I'm looking forward to this update, but I hope he keeps the change to the 10% rule under wraps. Just so players can't plan or prepare beforehand.Nick you explained everything BUT the 10% rule, could we have a comment on what is going to happen before it is made live?

I'm not going to jump on the "hate belial bandwagon" but really B you choose to hide below a rule that was implemented to help noobs from being capped out and loosing interest with the game. The rule was never made so the biggest players in the game could hide below it. You knew that when you went low. You made your bed now lie in it. The rule was made for noobs not fat cats on top...that's why it's called "exploiting the 10% rule"...because what you're doing is not what it was meant for.
-
It's a dodgy 1 people chose to go low inf and exploit a loophole which is unsporting and a tad unfair but anyone can do it
If a major change is made to 10% rule and it forces people to be Trillions in debt I do think that's unfair as these people have just been shafted by a game rule change and you can't change the rules half way through the gameI would suggest a capped fine dependent on mob size or turf count not sure how to get the figure but I believe a fine is the fairest way
Say u have 6k mob u was low inf now u get fined 5 billion bigger mob bigger fineSo it's not a total let of but it's not stabbing low inf players in the back

Can't rebuild with 70 billion. That's a laugh.

The players made the choice. I don't see why they should get rewarded for making a choice that isn't sustainable. The change won't put them into debt.
I said if it does put them in debt then my idea is fair if it dosnt put them in debt then I don't really care and I doubt the low inf guys will care

B you know that all you have to do is slowly rebuild. 60 billion is enough for a few hundred turf. Then after a few days of rebuilding you'll be back where you were. Also, no body is forcing you to buy these new melee weapons. You have the second most mob including hench. You have nothing reallyto worry about as far as defense goes.

How about we all wait till the update and see what happens then? It did say 'adjustment' not removal. ✊

It's sokethin we need to know about now

There's different way of exploiting the 10% rule... I agreed that it was probably meet to protect the smaller mob players from attacks but when they use it themselves to V up with a big mob player to attack average players... I don't think that it was meet for that either.

Also B, if you hadn't have went low you would have been generating all that turf income all this time and the cost having to rebuild wouldn't be an issue. You did it to yourself man.
-
Turf wars weapons need to reflect the tactics that are associated with their real life counterparts?
-
Belial, do you want cheese with that whine? Do you wanna ride the waahhhmbulance and munch on some French cries? Create turfs, generate income, get everything back. You made the choice to lower your influence and exploit the 10% rule, and now you want everything back just because you can't hide behind it anymore? Grow up, and play like the rest of us do. You only want to know what the change will be beforehand so you can rush to fix your idiotic mistakes. You have enough money to rebuild, so stop whining.
-
Actually with a low turf count it won't cost 60mil a turf for a very long time. Stretching it there.

I understand
we ll see what Nick is planning. The fact that he does not seem to want to tell us more about it makes me think large players will not be happy -

If he based it on mob then mules would rule and all the large players would have to reset

What weapons will be considered mele? Knives/shanks/Knucks and will there be more mele toot? Or weapons?
Currently it's the Shank, Brass Knuckles, German Stiletto Knife, and Chainsaw – there will be more coming in the update! Some of the existing items will have their stats adjusted, more on this will be announced later.

Why do we need melee weapons anyway?
