I'm 31. I was in my first car accident today. I was driving alone when this tool in a Benz SUV decided to turn left. I don't know what he was thinking but it was as if he did it on purpose. No signal, no brakes. It was as if time slowed down and I had time to analyze the situation. Unfortunately there was nowhere for me to go. I locked up the brakes, this asshole hits the gas, and wham. Totaled my GF brand new 2011 Subaru Legacy, as well as his new Benz. Now I'm all fucked up and can barley move. Double dipping on Lortab now.

Thanks guys. Fully covered. He was cited for failure to yield to right of way. And a witness stopped and reported that he basically drove right into me. He's pretty screwed. But since his wife picked him up in their OTHER brand new Benz, I think he'll be aight. I've been jumped, fallen from 20' and kicked by a horse, but head-on collisions are the worst.

I hope you get better soon I got into a crash before I'm only 18 it wasn't my fault either the girl that hit me wasnt paying attention my moms car was totaled and so was the other womans. Like vee said you will feel it tomorrow if dont already do, that girl's insurance paid for medical for me and a chiropractor see it that is an option they are amazing

Glad to hear you're okay...even happy to hear the Benz idiot is okay. Same thing happened to me about a year ago, but I was the idiot...made an illegal left but the no left turn sign was taken down cause of construction. BTW, no, barley can't move,lol. (your post)

Accidents suck big time. I was in 5 as a child and two bike accidents as an adult. Neither my fault :) glad you weren't hurt. Hope your car gets sorted quickly.

So glad you're ok!!! You'll be in pain for a while bc of the muscles being ripped away from the fascia, bones, etc. The body is resilient, as you've experienced in other traumas. Ice! Meds! Hot baths! Ice again! Repeat. :)

it took me 25 minutes to get out bed today to go to the restroom. X-rays showed nothing being broken but i feel like I've been crushed. My ribs, sternum, clavicles, shoulders and neck feel like nothing I've ever felt. Most of my pain is from the impact from the airbag, so I don't want to imagine a head-on without one. Thanks for the well wishes. Drive safely people!
