In Japan, the carp (or Koi as it is known is Japanese) is a symbol of perseverance in the face of adversity. It is the symbol of strength and determination to overcome obstacles and attain high goals.

Basically, the Japanese fish flag stands for worldly aspirations and advancement in life. For others, it is a symbol of good fortune and luck.

I remember we were all trying to figure out what the heck it was for.
Anyway, I want to see if anyone else knows what some of the other mysterious emoji are and/or their meaning. Like : 🍙🍘 and  or maybe these 🈵🈳🉐🈹🈸🈷🈚🈶🈺🈯🈂

🍙🍘 black squares are the things that u use to hold these treats... The white one is rice cake.. The brown one is a treat with sesame seeds as an outer coverin with a sweet fillin..in chinese its called tikoy..

Don't think  is a fridge cos it's in the buildings section. It does look like a fridge though.

🍙 has nobody eaten a freakin rice ball before? like sushi the size of a child's fist. the black stuff is the nori so you don't get it on your fingers. I used to eat these at kumiko's house. her mom made them all the time as a snack. stuffed with umeboshi or fish or what not.

🌊 I thought this was an eagle. I still do. I just don't see how it's a wave. There is already one.

Its a wave painting by a Japanese artist that Ive forgotten the name of but it's one of the most famous Japanese paintings. Once you've seen the painting you can tell the emoji is a wave
