Myspace..... Is it dead? Or just used for business now?

  Get out of here with that. Lmfao. I wrote letters and used phones and email before. I still prefer these to my Facebook any day. I agree that Facebook is a great way to keep up with friends; however, would also agree the business aspect of it is the interesting part. I think Facebook helped people who don't communicate or keep up with others but instead exist sort of like voyeurs peeping into the lives of others. I started deleting people like that.

  Really? I think it gives a reason for most to not even attempt to see someone. Instead of phone calls you get messages. Instead of actually going to you friends people just comment. It makes most lazy, if you wanted to catch up on childhood friends why not write letters, call, or something else.

  Personal interaction really istn that important. Online social social activities make society more efficient and we still fill psychological needs. Really there's pretty much no downside to social networking

  We're human beings. Personal in-person interaction with other human beings is vital. You should read a few studies on babies that haven't been touched/hugged/etc. in their infancy. Not good. Doesn't mean social networking is all bad but it does not, by far, fulfill all ones psychological or emotional needs.

  Soon it's going to be Google Chrome, since adults are getting Facebooks and kids need to get away from their parents they resort to that.
