State government is trying to.cutoff riverside county downward and make them fend for themselves. Pretty ridiculous really.

California has been on the verge of split my entire life. It won't happen. I would like to see a northern and southern CA but the south depends on our (northern) water. Really though, CA should be it's own country as it's economy is healthy enough to support itself. And let's face it, our values and views in general differ greatly from your "average" American.

we're the golden state for crying out loud. They wouldn't ever let us go. Even if by some miracle we are, there's no doupt Texas would want their independance soon after. Which, of course the government wouldn't want.

Don't tempt me with kicking Texas out. I hate being their northern neighbor. Too many a-holes migrate this way for some reason. But I don't want to need a passport to get to CA. It's tempting though
