Bottom line: this is a mob game. War is on the title of the game.
Many different philosophies exist on how this game should be played.
I believe a player has a right to play anyway they see fit provided they are not using cheats or exploits. Use only resources and tactics that are available to all.
Myself, I prefer a fair, honest and diplomatic approach.
However, I will play anyone any way they want to play. They jist need to fire the first volley to initiate the preferred play style.
Now, if you come under attack, you're options are as follows:
1. Stick to your style of play
2. Play by their rules
3. Do nothing and let them have their way
4. Vedetta their ass
5. Reset. Delete. Go outside. -
Parts of what Mississippi said are right. What mississippi was wrong about is thug was blowing mama teks turfs up just last week so it wasn't from a while ago. Also this game is less than six months old so everything done can be viewed as recent. Thug has been playing less than 4 months. But they're right he played by the rules. He has lied cheated and backstabbed. All are within the rules. No vendetta will be able to destroy him. When u get to a certain size u can't be destroyed. I could rebuild every one of my turfs TWICE if they were taken out. So we have done him dirty by blacklisting him which is THE SAME THING HE DID TO NIXON AND BELLA! Him nor mississippi nor Charlie have no ground to their arguments for that very reason
-
That'd be like me taking ten turfs from a guy and then he gets a vendetta against me and destroys those ten turfs and I get upset about it. You reap what you sow
-
Anyone can be destroyed, my friend. Anyone. It just takes persistence and the right players. You can rebuild twice. Maybe even a few times. How about a dozen? Two dozen? I drove out a 12 levels higher 1800 mob bully with just 700 mob.
Anything can be accplished in this game. No cheats necessary to do it, either.
-
And there is only one pint to my arguenents:
Play the game. This wonderful, marvelous, fantastic, best of the best apps game.

Look guys... It's not about liking someone or not. It's about strategy. There are some big problems with the game due to the difference in possible attack and defense. This is why people have resorted to dropping players. If you can get a bunch of people to drop a mob member, you may be able to weaken them enough to take them on. I think it's a hard fight, but I like the idea.

Persistence.
Persistence.
Persistence.
No one can hold out forever. Keep them reduced long enough, they'll have to consider selling weapons at some point.
Then it's rebuild, restock.
New Vendetta.
Rinse, repeat.
And if they have all their turf reduced to 1 inf, did you not accomplish something?
-
No one is invincible. Not even he who shall not be named. I would love to go head to head with him.
-
I believe I know who Turf Warrior is talking about...and I believe you are correct Charlie...that ultimately you can persist against someone and eventually they will be worn down. Regarding the player that Turf Warrior mentioned...that top player did drop all his turfs...but I'm betting if the vendettas had continued on week after week that he would eventually have run out of money and had to do something. However, for this case, most of this guys turfs were all in one area...the problems start occurring whenever you have a player who has bases spread out and especially not even in the same region of the US, or even the world.
-
The way I see it, it was just another way to fight a war. In war you hit an enemy at their weakest point and this players weakest point happened to be diplomacy. So this was most likely the best opening strategy for this prticular player.
-
Agreed Belial...regarding the "unnamed" player, he definitely has issues with diplomacy...and is finally seeing the consequences of his actions.

Just so you know I'm not taking sides I just wanted to know what went wrong for thuglife 👍

People can take their influence to one foR a while because there are only so many people built around them who can capture nearby. And damaged turf still makes plenty of money. I'll still send out the open challenge for anyone to show me a player who was destroyed by vendetta who had over 75 turfs. Mama tek lost at least 60 and she's still fine. This was the best way to hurt "that guy". And it worked. He actually mentioned quitting. He won't but still .... it got to him
-
And the best argument is he did the exact same thing to other top mobsters. I haven't heard one of u "that guy" defenders say anything regarding that

Thanx night. I try to tell players over and over that diplomacy is the single most important skill in this game. Even more so than mob. I think that this is at least beginning to prove part of my statementAgreed Belial...regarding the "unnamed" player, he definitely has issues with diplomacy...and is finally seeing the consequences of his actions.

How is this still a debate? Simply put, players joined a common cause to bring down an opponent by removing him from their mob. The way I see it, this was a democratic process. He has a lot of power, and like any other person with power, he had to make a decision whether he was going to be a kind diplomatic leader of the people or a ruthless one. He chose the latter, and it is 100% within his right to do so, but now he has to live with the consequences of his actions. The people are casting their votes against him by removing him from their mob, and there is nothing immoral or dirty about it, democracy at it's finest.
-
I've never personally had any dealings with him and hold no grudge against him, but I've seen a majority of his posts and have spoken with a decent amount of people who have and it's clear he is a bully plain and simple. Because of that I cast my vote and removed him. Not to mention before this all happened HE'S the one who tried to have some of the nicest most diplomatic people in the game removed from everyones mob.. and his plan did a 180. You get what you give. To his loyal syndicate members, I applaud your loyalty but I think your judgement is slightly clouded.

👆very well put.
-
And to be honest i actually feel bad for the kid.. but I still won't add him to my mob again.
