Imagine trying to shove an elephant into a cage designed for a hamster.
Boom. Photographic memory.
Anybody else have it? Care to share experiences?
I was able to navigate 90 miles with no gps or maps. I was able to get from my house to my cousins which I visited when I was four once.
The last thing I used to get there was a paint mark on a house. -
I read this as pornographic memory at first.
-
My memory is very good but mostly for memorizing useless things.
-
I remember a lot of faces but no names to match them... My mind is in tune with numerical and visual patterns.. I solve mathematical problems without proper equations..
-
Jeez that's crazy emp!
-
I forget everything, quite frankly it's a good job I have a wife who can remind me what the hell
-
I should be doing
-
I remember dates, faces, names, locations, and events. And tons and tons of useless crap that will only come in handy if I get in the cash cab.

I'll never forget a female, her number or her naked body -
I forget my age sometimes also
-
Guess it would come in handy when punching codes ;-)

You do not describe eidetic memory. Why don't you head over to Wikipedia and memorize the article that says you are mistaken?

I have pornographic memory. I can't erase the look of every 🐱 I have engaged in finger licking fun time with. I have 90's music memory. where I ca. weirdly recall most of the
lyrics from every 90's alt rock song and where I was when it came out. but I can't remember my own songs I wrote then. or recipes I wrote a year ago, or people's names I worked with for a few years and was close with, or the name of my brother's second child. so there. -

The brain is not made at all. The brain is just pattern based soft storage and a kernel of consiousness. Symbols are used heavily, and a "full" brain automatically performs garbage collection.Brown🎵Note wrote:

When symbols are reduced or removed, detail is improved, but capacity is diminished while actively processing it, or when storing it long term.
This makes for high functioning autism and people that can memorize a scene by zoning in on to for half an hour.
All of us can remember suprising detail sometimes. You are special and unique, just like everyone else.
