Fireworks are fireworks..... We don't need a thread about it.... Views on hookers on the other hand would be an ideal alternative.

I live in Illinois were all fireworks are illegal, but I go to Alabama yearly and there I can get professional grade explosives on the side of the road.😄

I think some cities/states ban them because they are fire risks, not because they are "dangerous." I could be wrong.

I tend to lean more toward it's a scam forcing people to pay for so called lame professional shows where the fireworks all do the same lame effect and look identical. Seriously it's lame for cities to tell people that they can't celebrate their country's independence day

In Mo-Co they're banned but in the district they haven't had a fire ever pretty much. Just accidents from people that are two young/stupid to be using them.

DC needs a good fire. It took over 40 years, but the 1967 riot fires have finally revitalized those neighborhoods that burned.
