Some may recall I do this. Anyway I'm looking at a star right now, it caught my eye easily cos it seems to be twinkling quite bright and fast, I've not seen it before. Initially I thought it's a plane but it's possibly a stat called IZAR. The characteristics I've read and the location on the star walk app seem to match. It's very bright but strong enough to catch the eye, it's nice.

I think I also saw a really faint shooting star but could be my eyes playing tricks, looked like a dot moving but it didn't fly across fast, it was definitely further than a plane. UFO? Lol doubt it.

I think I know the exact star u talking about, I always like looking up on clear night! Not much of that in London tho :-(....also when u stare at an empty(black) part of sky with no stars,they become visible after little while....like focus on your camera

Yup. That's how I noticed something moving. There's no satellites in that area Amber.
