Don't let them treat you on an "assumption" - be sure that they PROVE that you have TB (or something else) before beginning treatment. Have you traveled to the South or outside the US recently?   Are you sure that with TB you are in isolation for a year? I thought they just put you on meds for a few months? I guess if it is isolation, and you are trying to have a baby, then you will be passing a Dixie cup back and forth! On the bright side ....... Just think how much time you will have to punch codes - you'll be able to overtake Belial! Get well soon.

  Don't worry. Here's how you can tell if you're doing ok or not. Everyday. Open turf wars. Post a thread. If you can type, then you're alright. It's also good for the psychological/mental part. For the baby thing, it's best not to go near it in case the baby catches the disease.

  Thank you all so much for your prayers, thoughts, wishes, and advice. I'm deeply touched by how suportive you all are.

  Tomorrow we find out the results of his TB test so it's a big day for us. But even if it is positive, it looks to be treatable. (unless it's one of the rare antibiotic strains, at which point I had to step away from the google for my own sanity).

  On a positive note, Mr. Iks is feeling better than he has in days and I still feel fine.

  When the Mr first posted this thread, I was a bit uncomfortable that he was sharing medical stuff with people on the interwebs. After seeing all of the responses, I totally get it now. All of you hard-ass mobsters are pretty supportive when someone reaches out.

  Enough with all of this sentimentality. I think it's time to check out my fight list and deliver a few beatings.
