Whoa whoa whoa. Cheaper? No. Everything else is true. If it was cheaper I wouldn't even have a ps3. You need at least 1000$ to get a computer to run something like mw2.
Please elaborate your opinion.
I built my computer, cost around $600 ( I cant remember exactly, it's almost a year old now) and it runs mw2, black ops, and even crisis. Plus factor in the cost for a ps3 and ps4 (because the ps3 will be outdated soon) just my views...

Most people have to play on low graphics, controls are crappy.
Most people need to upgrade then! And what do you mean by crappy controls, mouse and keyboard out perform any console controller.
Most people don't have gaming PCs and keyboard is difficult to use.
