When it comes out, I dont know if its worth buying. Getting a XBOX or PS3 seems to be a way better choice.

Lol, nintendo has a ruined reputation with hardcore gamers. The wii had no chance for any good games because of the crap graphics and the shit hardware. Nintendo, you better fix it

They dont want hardcore gamers. They want to make a casual system that is kidfriendly yet still enjoyable for adults at a low price. If you want hardcore gaming, get a ps3 or a xbox

It's called Wii u (with two dots over the u). Looks interesting, but I don't think it's going to steal anybody from Sony or Microsoft, but maybe they won't have to if their networks keep getting hacked

I'm sure nintendo made more money with their wii than either Microsoft or Sony with their consoles. They had sold more than the others at one point(could still be the case) and crucially they were not sold at a loss.

The wii isnt mostly children. Alot of old folks homes have them to get them up and moving. It's a fun way to get ppl a little more exercise than they were getting previously.

- more options for games( either go with the mainstream games or free2play, pay2play)
-variety of pcs to choose from to fit your style
-more memory
-different hardwares to use while gaming
I can go on and on. Either get out of the dark ages or get your parents to buy you a pc so you can experience it yourself.

How can someone call themselves a gamer and then become a narrow minded fanboy who limits themselves to one console and spews forth ignorance about why said console is the best. Sounds hypocritical to me... It's about the games, not the console, and all consoles have their own great games.

I agree with the guys who say buying a pc is a better investment than buying a console. I'm personally building myself a computer this summer (like ordering all the parts and building the computer) and I find it's much easier and cheaper to set your price based on what your needs are. Like I personally want a larger amount of RAM cause I might host a server for friends in Minecraft on this comp, but I also want some sweet processor performance so I buying a core i5 2400 sandybridge clocked at 3.1 ghz.
