I notice people buy stupid amounts of non upkeep weapons sometimes. I realise that you loose value when you sell but is that because they reckon it's better to have your liquid assets turned into weapons that you can sell at your convienience ?

Anyone understand that?

I've never heard or thought of this before. Hmmm. Interesting though, have you tried writing one of these people and asking?

They "lose" value, not "loose" value. I think it depends on the player & the weapons. Some players don't know any better & some collect weapons for fun. I try to keep enough grenades & vests for my entire mob, in case I ever have to sell my upkeep weapons.

It used to be a tactic to slow people down when they were attacking you (making them scroll). Luckily though, nick fixed the scrolling. The tactic wasn't worth dealing with all the mundane scrolling, IMO.

I have 11k of all non upkeep weapons. Just had a lot of money and nothing to do with it. I thought it would be fun to max them all out.

I sometimes sell all my weapons that have upkeep so I can get more money. I keep all the non upkeep weapons for those times

If you go into negative income, dies your bank balance get drained?

If so having a supply of assets to sell off might not be a bad strategy.
