Cheesecake Overdose

I worried I'd overdue it this year...
...and I did. I wanted to find the best cheesecake... I scourged all over for it, tasted everything from raspberry to Caramel. Thick to thin.In the end, I couldn't find a decent cheesecake to my liking. But I did find 7 extra pounds and I thank the one above for pepto bismol.
I'd imagine a peanut-butter cheesecake might turn out good? Thoughts?

absolutely not. nothing shipped in frozen from a mass produced commissary is "the best."
also you got your cream cheese based NY cheesecake and your ricotta based Italian cheesecake. which I definitely like less but lemme tell you. vinieros on first avenue. nom nom nom.

Food quality is garbage. They feed people like cows. I don't recommend. I can't believe the crap food I have been served there. I have been to them in several cities. Always seems to be the spot someone picks who knows someone who won't let me turn down the invite. Torture.

I love cheesecake; however, good ones are exceedingly hard to find.
Red velvet is even more difficult to find.
My all time favorite desert is gooseberry pie though.
Luckily, creme brûlée can be made at home as well as gooseberry pie. I make it in single size ramekins. Yaaaaay! !Zaz, perhaps you will forge your own home made cheesecake. You may find that this is the only way to forge the perfection you seek.

Oh, and in regards to overdose, it isn't over until it is over. That usually equates to a stroke. 😉

Being from the South, we have lots of places here with red velvet cake...it's definitely a comfort food from my childhood. You can tell a good red velvet slice if it weighs more than a block of lead of the same size. :)

I happened upon a cheesecake, best i ever had, at a bulk food store bakery in detroit. Loads of huge strawberries on top, made fresh daily, and cheap too.🍰
