According to Nintendo's official press release, the new console will be shown in playable form at this year's E3 Expo in Los Angeles from June 7-9.

The specs look interesting... 👍

I wouldn't say wii was a disappointment. It set a new industry standard to which both Sony and Microsoft responded. Wii 2 will have to get some serious hardware to stay competitive, they also need to consider hardcore gamers this time.

Ford started the whole 'car thing' and they suck ass, too. Progress has a way of leaving companies in the dust if they aren't paying attention and staying on top of their game.

Ford just came back with a pretty nice line up, and great new industry features, and this is coming from a Lexus owner n lover! Wii set the bar for everyone to follow n improve on, but they sat back and let it happen. Will they raise the bar???

Wii wasnt a dissappointment, it just didnt appeal to anybody who wants to play shooters, and had bad graphics. Wii 2 should have same level or higher graphics than PS360

👆👆👆👍Yeah seriously shut the f**k up! Nintendo are the Godfathers of gaming and even tho I don't play my wii nearly as much as my 360, they pioneered a new way of gaming. There isn't a nintendo console I don't own, and I'm never getting rid of them!

Why would anyone call it a disappointment? It set new standards in consoles. Sony and Microsoft have worked hard to copy the Wii.

Kids these days "nintendo paved the way for consoles" "grandfathers of gaming"? You guys are um how you say??? Wrong? They weren't the first console by a long shot. Therefore cannot be the grand fathers of games. NES was better then other systems for ONE GENERATION. Soon as snes game out and got rolled by genesis. N64 was decent but was a stupid expensive cartridge still so that year win goes to Sony. Then PS2 and xbox went unanswered by nintendo and ps3/360 blows the wii away. It got the three year old and the 70 year old market...not the market if 15-30 who are the ones spending tons on games. Hardware wise and marketing wise wii didn't hold a candle to the actual sales of the others. Grandfathers of consoles...well I never. My atari is spinning in it's grave...my frogger on my commodore just trew himself infront of a transport.

If they can develop wii 2 with hardware capable of handing next gen graphics n physics engines like frostbite 2 they will take the Market. Imagine bf3 wii style. Actually I cant imagine it but the prospect of it is very interesting!
