There has got to be some good story's regarding injuries!
Mine was a complete dislocation open fracture to my left ankle! It was nearly amputated! Luckily it wasn't! Story goes like this!
I was riding my pushbike in the hardest gear, this meant I had to really drive through my legs
Putting the chain under a lot of stress! Chain slipped my foot came off the peddle, when my foot hit the floor it was at a 9 oclock position! All my weight, 17st at the time (240lbs ish for u amerian peeps) and forward momentum only meant one thing! Pop! 4 ops later and have been offered an ankle replacement! -
Post traumatic arthritis! Loads of pain!
Please share your injuries! I'm just curious!
Also have any of you guys had an ankle replacement?
Yes your right I'm bored!
✌ people! I look forward to reading your posts! Sure some will be funny as always! -
When I was younger I had a bike wreck. I flipped over my handle bars. My thigh land on one of the handle bars. The handle bar penetrated my thigh. From what the doctor said the handle bar came within a few centimeters of hitting the artery there. Got to the hospital at about 12pm got out at 2am. Couldn't walk for a week and was on painkillers the whole week. After that I limped for about 2 weeks then I was fine. The scar on my thigh is about 3 inches long.

On mothers day this year my mums phone was ringing at 8am. I thought it must be something important so I ran to pick it up. I slid across the kitchen floor into the cabinets. I ended up messing up my right foot with a displaced fracture of my 4th proximal phalanx and dislocated MTP joint and a fracture of my 3rd distal metatarsal. It was very painful but more alarming was the way the toes were pointing in different directions!
And worst of all it wasn't even an important call in the end and my mum spent the morning in a&e instead of having breakfast in bed -

No summer sandals for me! 😿 -
I dumped my bike...shattered my elbow...have a fake one now. Doctors said if never pass the military yearly fitness test again. In less then a year I proved them all wrong. That's right I'm the 36 dollar man!
But here's a funny one. Yesterday this young guy I work with strolls in with BRUTAL road rash all over his face. This guy was messed up. 2 black eyes. Scraped his whole left side from forehead to shoulder blades. It looked like he crashed his bike and road his face to a full stop. Nope, he tripped while jogging downhill on gravel!

I dislocated my shoulder a while back. Wouldn't have been that bad, had the doctors not incorrectly popped it back in, pinching the nerves in my arm and deadening them.

Ouch all!

Got off a bus after school and a girl jumped on my back. My left thigh bone snapped in two. Had a operation to pin and plate it. Eventually the bone turned out to be cancerous. Had to have amputated. They gave me a rotation plasty amputation. Im now grabbing the skill of walking with a fake leg (y)

Maybe 7 years ago I was running barefoot and stepped on something. It cut all the way across the bottom of my foot up to the bone. I have some nerve damage and it causes me to limp from time to time. I never found out what I stepped on.

Caught my foreskin in the zip in a nightclub. Tried to rip the zip down didn't work. Got in a taxi and told him to bring me home, he said no were going to the hospital. Doctors and nurses laughing at me. Luckily I was too drunk too feel much pain. Was bandaged up for about a week.

Me and the woman were out drinking. Came home got in an argument. She slammed the door shut at the bottom of the stairwell. I wasn't having that!! So I came down to kick it open. Missed a few stairs. Both my feet right through the door. Came to. My left shoulder was dislocated. About 6" from the socket.

Police officer ashley ran me over once in her police car, I managed to get her phone number though! 😝😹

Mine was during a motorbike crash, fucked my back (I couldnt bend my back for months, almost impossible to get in and out of bed), my knee (grazed all the way to the bone, it got infected and turned green and yellowy) and my arm (arm was ok after a few days but damn it was still sore). After the crash I've calmed down slightly on doing street tricks, it isn't really worth it. Unless someone gave me a bike to do them on then boom, I'll be back in business. To expensive repairing bikes.

I ruptured my Anterior Cruciate ligament in my left knee playing football (or if your American...Soccer), shattered my Patella (Knee) then had it all reconstructed. My knee is now made of Plastic with Nuts, Bolts and Rods and my cruiciate Is now made from one of my Hamstrings. All works well now though! :-) lovely looking scar though :-)

I was on a safari in Botswana, and I fell off a fence. (Don't ask) Ended up getting a compound fracture of both bones in my arm, 500 miles from the nearest hospital. Had to wait for six hours in a cgair with my bone sticking out of my arm. They couldn't even give me pain meds for the first three. But that's not all! Apparently, some of the elephant dung they were using as a pathway (When it's dry it's like mulch) got in, and I ended up with a staff infection and e. coli, both in the bone.

This one time I was chipping ice out of a freezer and I caught my fingernail and bent it right back. It was epic! Lol

I once stepped on an electrical plug barefoot, and I've stubbed a toe!
I've also had severe bruising and muscle damage in both shoulders at once, 3 broken ribs, and a fractured ankle.
