Anyone know if the rumors that it will be 3D are true? And is there any official release date yet? I need to upgrade from my 2nd gen iPod lol.

I never said that, 3D is overused and not fulled developed. A curved screen could be cool depending on how it is used.

My guess is the next phone won't be an iPhone 5. It will be the 4GS. Better processor, better camera, no LTE.

Yea the rumor is the 4GS. The IPhone 5 will come out next year.

Hahaha if you read any tech blog, you'll know that every single consumer electronic is trying to get in on this 3D thing. But like always, headaches after using it for an hour and pointlessly high prices make 3D another market flop. If apple starts putting 3D screens on there devices, I'll eat my desk chair (note that I won't actually eat my desk chair. This phrase was used in a non-literal way)

I think zraygo is right. The next device will be an iPhone 4gs. Ipod 5 will follow the phone like ipods always do and have a better processor and more ram

Apple tend to use new yet proven and stable technology for its devices. 3d doesn't match these criteria so it won't be used

The gamecube had stereoscopic 3D compatibility but it wasn't cost-effective from end user pov so was never officially released to output.

3d is not fully developed and yet I see commercials for movies saying: Coming in 4d! Obviously the technology is not perfected and why would Apple implement a technology that makes your head hurt instead of a better processor or curved screen into their most well known product?
