I understand a beanie is not protection, but I'm a big boy and can decide when I want to wear a lid or not. Government have been debating enforcing bicycle riders to wear helmets for years and there is no law in place for them. I'd just like the choice.

What you doing now? I still enjoy the job so don't mind the weekends :-P Honda hornet type thing 600cc sounds like it will be a good starter. Enough power without being too stupid for a beginner...
