Military Rulling on Tattoos?
Forums › General Discussion › Military Rulling on Tattoos?-
What's the rules about tattoos in the military? I have a cross on my arm that the recruit already saw and didn't mind, and a few months ago I got my daughters name on my other arm. I have a few more tattoo ideas, including my back that I want to get done. Once i have my degree I plan on joining the navy. What are the navy's rules about tattoos?

Once you are in, You... And your body... Are property of the US Government. I got a few when I was add kept them hidden under my uniform.
Tradition is another thing. If you get one after you get to the fleet, expect senior guys to tack it on by smacking it once or twice.
Good Luck

Tattoos have to be hidden under your uniform
No offensive tattoo allowed
Once you swear in (sign contract) dont get any more tattoos until you leave your recruit training,Good one Mr seaman
