My ps3 was working fine yesterday. I turned it in today and all I get is "The hard disk's file is corrupted and will be restored." I hit ok and it restarts the system. Then it goes straight back to the same thing over and over. I've "restored" it 5 times now and it hasn't done anything. Does anyone know what to do? Please I need a serious answer not some of that xbox is better or somthin.

Sounds like the drive crashed, download the latest OS off their website (if it's up?) onto a thumb drive and try installing it fresh from that.

If that doesn't work you may need to instal a new HD and do the same thing.

That's cuz the HD is unlikey to break for years same situation with xbox HD's fortunately when they go tits up on PS3 (if ever) £20 sorts you out 😺 upwards of £40 for xbox drives...

Hmmm does the drive work on other ps3s.yes You can take out the hard drive. If that doesn't work than you mind need to buy a new hard drive.
