Can you get banned for can modding your gamertag ( A B X Y etc) and not putting any swears in it?

On xbox live can you get banned for modding your gamertag like putting A,B,X,Y in your gamertag but with out swearing in it?

I don't think so.
You need a transfer cable to do it. I gave my harddrive to a friend that mods and jtags; he did it for me.
My GT says "(B)AD FISH" the B is the button and it's in all red text. -

It's not really worth it because you have to do a whole bunch of stuff and change your settings...
