I don't think being gay requires a help phone like dysentery. Unless of course they freak out and beat you or something crazy like that...then yes seek professional help. You asked if you should come out to your rents, but none of us know them or your family life. I'd like to think that in this day and age parents are understanding,Supportive and encouraging of these things but I know that's not always the case. So the answer to your question is, yes you should come out...unless you think they'll freak out. Age is a factor too...they might over react if you're 13 because they still want to protect you from the bad things (straight or gay). But if you're 18 and they freak out, walk away...sexual preference shouldn't be anyones concern but your own

Dude ,for your own good , only tell anyone when your in a serious relationship. If it slips out at school or other places, be prepared to be bullyed for the next 5 years.
