I just got this game. Best 20bucks I have ever spent! The graffics suck but it's a great idea that has turned into a great game. I just hope I don't get addicted to it like I did tw and my friends who are probably playing it right now.

Don't worry you will......😳

True, and the graphics were meant to be like that I think so they don't "suck".Zanderaw wrote:

Me and my friend were on a public classic freebuild server, and two guys were griefing. So we covered our house with grass and dirt and headed down to the very bottom of the map in search of thier underground base. When we did we stuffed it with TNT and ran back to our base. It was fun!

Ok someone explain minecraft to me in 100 words or less. I've heard of it but never have taken the time to look into it.
-
It's virtual Lego with unlimited pieces. People have built full size 1:1 scale objects such as the world trade centre, Brooklyn bridge, and the Enterprise (star trek).

Does anyone know how to get an account for free?
I'm willing to pay for it.... But free is better >:) -
Pirate bay probably has it for free..
-
I've seen the crazy things that have been built, enterprise and the towers.... But what are you guys building? I just assume I'd play it, build a really fancy box of some sort, then get bored and move on. Is it that cool to build stuff?

It's for people who like building stuff and all that. RPG people probably get into it as well. You basically can create a little virtual world. I like the exploring part to find building materials you need and then having fun building stuff. It sounds pretty simple but it draws ya in. But yeah, for many it would be boring after a little bit. Here's a little checklist for ya to see if it's right for you:1) Do you like Legos, Architecture, building things or crafting stuff?
2) Do you like exploring new areas and seeing what new things are out there?
3) Do you mind "grinding" (doing a somewhat repetitive task over and over again in order to get what you want)? (in this case it would be mining and digging for new ores and stuff). If you answered yes to those then you might be a might be a Minecraft addict waiting to happen.

I agree. I am a perfectionist so I am easily addicted to these things too. If u are a perfectionist then you also might be a minecraft addict waiting to happen. -

No, just go to minecraft website, make an account and just download the beta client anywhere online. You can play on servers that allow free users.Emperor K wrote:

I read on mmorpg.com of a player that tried Minecraft but quit due to physical spells of nausea whenever he played.
